Job Description

I. Job Summary: Objective: To acquire delegates for events, conferences, or webinars, contributing to revenue growth and event success. Role: Delegate Sales Acquisition professional, responsible for identifying, contacting, and securing registrations from potential attendees. II. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Identify potential delegates through research, networking, and existing databases. Develop and implement lead generation strategies. Qualify leads based on event relevance and decision-making ability. Outreach and Engagement: Contact potential delegates via phone, email, or other channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with delegates. Provide detailed information about events and their benefits. Address objections and manage delegate inquiries effectively. Sales and Acquisition: Sell delegate participation packages or event registrations. Negotiate pricing and terms with delegates. Ensure delegates are effectively onboarded and registered. Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on acquisition metrics and results. Provide insights to improve future acquisition efforts. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, events, and other teams to optimize acquisition strategies. Participate in industry events to network and engage with potential delegates. III. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Proven track record in delegate acquisition, event marketing, or a related field. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships. Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales tools. Experience with digital marketing, email marketing, and social media. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Business, etc.) preferred. IV. Additional Responsibilities: May be required to travel to attend events and conferences. May be responsible for specific campaigns or projects related to delegate acquisition. Contribute to the development and implementation of new acquisition strategies.
