Debt Manager

A leading financial services firm is seeking experienced professionals to join its Business Development & Debt Advisory team. The candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing debt transactions across corporates, mid-market companies, NBFCs, and real estate clients.

Key Responsibilities

Business Origination & Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, NBFCs, and financial institutions to identify and originate new business opportunities.
• Evaluate clients’ debt requirements and structure tailored financing solutions.
• Build and nurture a strong network of banks, NBFCs, and investors for deal placements.
• Drive business growth through proactive client engagement and strategic partnerships.

Deal Structuring & Execution

• Lead execution of mandates including preparation of financial models, pitch materials, and credit notes.
• Structure and negotiate financing terms with lenders, investors, and clients.
• Oversee due diligence, documentation, and timely closure of transactions.
• Ensure high standards of client service and timely completion of mandates.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including credit, legal, and compliance to ensure seamless execution.
• Mentor and guide junior team members (if applicable).
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and support revenue growth targets.

Key Skills & Attributes

• Strong knowledge of debt products: working capital, term loans, project finance, structured finance, etc.
• Proven ability in financial analysis, credit assessment, and deal structuring.
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple deals and client relationships.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
