What You'll Do

Clinical Analytics & Predictive Modeling

• Analyze patient outcomes to identify treatment patterns and optimize clinical protocols
• Build predictive models for patient progress, readmission risk, and treatment effectiveness
• Develop statistical models that support clinicians in making data-informed decisions
  

Billing & Revenue Cycle Intelligence

• Create predictive models to optimize billing workflows and improve reimbursement outcomes
• Analyze denial patterns and develop classification models to reduce revenue leakage
  

Model Development & Experimentation

• Design, train, and validate machine learning models
• Conduct statistical analyses and A/B testing to evaluate model performance
• Apply AI and deep learning techniques across clinical and operational use cases
• Experiment with various modeling approaches to solve complex healthcare problems
  

Data Analysis & Insights

• Process and analyze large, complex healthcare datasets from multiple sources
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and guide hypothesis formation
• Visualize findings to clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Conduct feature engineering and model optimization activities
  

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in data science
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)
• Proficiency in SQL for advanced data querying and manipulation
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or similar
• Solid grounding in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
• Experience working with messy, real-world datasets
• Strong data visualization and communication skills
• Understanding of model evaluation metrics, cross-validation, and overfitting
• Ability to translate complex analytical concepts for non-technical audiences
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare datasets (EMR, claims, clinical outcomes)
• Knowledge of healthcare billing, CPT codes, ICD-10, or revenue cycle processes
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy norms
• Experience with deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers)
• Background in causal inference or time-series analysis
• Experience in NLP for clinical or unstructured text
