Role Overview:
Internship working on a leading Cloud Solutions PlatformWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst intern to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills who is eager to learn how to turn data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate across departments to collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, build reports and dashboards, and contribute to ongoing projects that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Conduct descriptive and diagnostic analyses to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
- Support data modeling and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes in coordination with data engineers.
- Translate data findings into clear insights and visualizations for business and technical audiences.
- Assist in A/B testing, performance tracking, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
- Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros) and one or more BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of statistical methods and data visualization best practices.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) or cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience (Nice To Have)
- Internship or project experience involving real-world data sets.
- Exposure to data storytelling or business analytics projects.
- Basic understanding of predictive modeling, regression, or clustering techniques.
