Job Title: Creative DGM (Deputy General Manager)

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Overview:


As Creative DGM, you will set and maintain the creative vision for projects, brands, and campaigns across all relevant digital and direct channels. In this senior leadership position, you will oversee the entire creative lifecycle—from concept ideation to execution—ensuring that all creative output aligns with brand strategy, business objectives, and delivers measurable results.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead multidisciplinary creative teams including designers, copywriters, and artists.
  • Drive brainstorming, ideation, and development of creative, innovative concepts for campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Oversee and approve final creative deliverables to ensure consistency, brand alignment, and excellence.
  • Manage creative budgets, workflow efficiency, and timelines to ensure high-quality output delivered on schedule.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and client stakeholders to ensure creative work meets objectives and effectively communicates messaging.
  • Set and manage brand standards across all platforms, channels, and campaigns.
  • Monitor and drive effectiveness of communication to maximize impact and results.
  • Use data and performance metrics (A/B testing, CTR, CVR, ROI, ROAS, Engagement Rate) to make informed, real-time optimizations to creative assets.

Performance & Financial Metrics:

  • Return on Investment (ROI) / Return on Ad Spend (ROAS): Demonstrate the financial impact of creative campaigns.
  • Conversion Rate (CVR): Optimize creative to drive target user actions.
  • Click-Through Rate (CTR): Ensure creative content is highly engaging and relevant.
  • Engagement Rate: Foster deep user interaction, shares, and retention across media.

  • Artistic and strategic vision resulting in campaigns that are innovative, data-driven, and consistently support brand identity and business objectives.
  • Delivery of quantifiable business value—linking creative output directly to organizational growth and sales.
  • Foster a productive, inspired, and efficient creative team culture.
  • Build long-term positive brand equity through meaningfully different, memorable campaign messaging and visuals.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading creative teams for digital and direct channels within e-commerce, travel, or related industries.
  • Strong strategic, artistic, and commercial acumen—able to deliver both creative excellence and business results.
  • Expertise in managing creative workflows, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing metrics and experience using data to optimize creative output.
  • Updated about Chat GPT and smartly makes use of AI tools in day to day work
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Based in Mumbai, able to work in a hybrid or in-office environment.
