Job Title: Corporate Sponsorship & Outreach Lead (DEI Events) Location: Remote (with occasional travel) Type: Full‑time / Part‑time / Contract-based About Us We’re a mission-driven nonprofit centered on advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through transformative community events. Role Overview We’re seeking a proactive, persuasive, and mission-aligned individual to lead outreach to corporates, create compelling sponsorship proposals, and secure financial and in-kind support for our DEI-focused events. Key Responsibilities 🎯 Prospecting & Relationship-Building Generate a pipeline of corporate sponsors by researching and reaching out to aligned organizations, using methods like cold outreach, networking, and referrals Schedule and lead pitch meetings, customizing presentations to each sponsor’s values and business goals. 📄 Proposal Creation & Negotiation Prepare polished sponsorship packages with tiered benefits—visibility, event branding, speaking slots, media exposure . Negotiate deals and create formal agreements outlining deliverables and timelines. đŸ€ Partnership Management & Activation Act as the main liaison during events, ensuring sponsor commitments—logos, signage, announcements, social media mentions—are fulfilled. Capture post-event outcomes and provide sponsors with performance and impact reports (attendance, media reach, testimonials). 📈 Tracking & Reporting Maintain a CRM with sponsor pipeline, contract milestones, and deliverables . Work with the DEI/Development team to set revenue targets and create forecast reports. 📅 Event Support & Strategy Collaborate with events team to align sponsor presence with event logistics (booths, banners, speaking slots, hospitality). Provide strategic input into event design to enhance sponsor value and attendee experience. Qualifications Essential 1–3 years in sponsorship sales, nonprofit development, event partnerships, or related field. Excellent communication—cold outreach, pitch delivery, proposal writing. Strong organizational and project-management skills with attention to detail. Passionate about DEI and skilled at framing it as both social responsibility and business value. Familiarity with CRM systems and sponsorship tracking. Desirable Experience creating tiered sponsorship structures and corporate engagement initiatives. Background in DEI, CSR, or social impact sectors. Skills in generating impact metrics (e.g., reach, ROI), media analytics, and sponsorship ROI.
