Job Description

Role Overview: As a Convenience Analyst and Insights Manager at bp's Customers & Products BTC in Pune, India, you will be responsible for analyzing internal and external data, insights, and market trends to support and challenge the UK trading team. Your role will involve leading and partnering with key internal and external customers to deliver the strategy and maximize financial and customer performance/satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all plans and decisions are truly customer-led by supporting the trade planning team with data and insights for making customer-led and data-led decisions. - Challenge and support the team by regularly sharing insights and opportunities highlighted by the data. - Utilize data, insights, and market-trend platforms to analyze performance opportunities thoroughly and propose necessary changes/interventions. - Collaborate with buyers and colleagues across different teams to optimize performance in terms of sales, margin, income, customer satisfaction, and ensure seamless coordination among categories and brands. - Engage with wider business colleagues to ensure data and insights are considered and understood across different functions. - Establish and maintain insight-led external relationships to foster good communication with external partners. - Develop and manage efficient and automated tools to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction, such as price and promotion strategies. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in analyzing data and insights to drive positive change and enhance performance outputs. - Demonstrated bias towards customer-centricity with a background in understanding and applying market-trend information. - Experience in managing or working alongside third-party partners/suppliers in a fast-paced retail business environment. - Ability to stay motivated under high-pressure situations and demonstrate strong team-working, coaching, communication, and influencing skills. - Highly organized with effective planning and prioritizing skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in handling large amounts of data. - Numerate with technical expertise in tools like SAP and MS Office, and willingness to adapt to new technologies and ways of working.
