Convenience Insights Analyst

Role Overview: As a Convenience Analyst and Insights Manager at bp's Customers & Products (C&P) business area in Pune, India, you will be responsible for analyzing internal and external data, insights, and market trends to support and challenge the UK trading team in delivering the strategy and maximizing financial and customer performance/satisfaction. Your role will involve leading and collaborating with key internal and external customers to ensure all decisions are customer-led. Key Responsibilities: - Support the trade planning team by providing data and insights for making customer-led and data-led decisions for the UK trading team. - Challenge and support the team by sharing insights and opportunities derived from data analysis. - Utilize various data, insight, and market-trend platforms to analyze performance opportunities and propose interventions as required. - Collaborate with buyers and colleagues across different teams to optimize performance in terms of sales, margin, income, and customer satisfaction. - Work with wider business colleagues to consider and understand data and insights from various perspectives. - Build and maintain external relationships with insight providers to ensure effective communication. - Develop and implement efficient tools to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction, such as price and promotion strategies. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in analyzing data and insights for driving positive change and enhanced performance outcomes. - Customer-centric mindset with experience in market-trend analysis. - Experience in managing or working with third-party partners/suppliers in a fast-paced retail environment. - Highly motivated with strong team-working, coaching, communication, and influencing skills. - Organized with effective planning and prioritizing abilities. - Attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data. - Numerate with technical experience in tools like SAP and MS Office. - Graduate or equivalent experience in science, engineering, or related field.
