Job Summary:
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated team player to join its dynamic Legal & Compliance team. The Deputy Manager/Manager will be instrumental in carrying out a wide range of legal and compliance functions, ensuring the Group's operations adhere to statutory requirements and best practices across multiple international jurisdictions, where we have our global entities - including India, the US, the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Vietnam, and other jurisdictions where we collaborate otherwise
To support the Finance team with data-driven insights and assist in key costing exercises and special financial projects, contributing to improved efficiency and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of critical legal and compliance functions, including:
Contract Management & Negotiation: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal contracts, including service contracts, vendor agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), undertakings, letters of engagement, and Statements of Work (SoWs), with business partners, vendors, service providers, and clients globally.
Global Compliance & Policy: Working closely with the legal team and internal stakeholders to update, maintain, and ensure compliance with required in-house policies, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) under applicable laws worldwide.
Litigation & External Counsel Coordination: Coordinating with external advocates and counsels for SannamS4 matters in India and other international locations. Maintaining a comprehensive tracker and providing regular, detailed updates to the legal team and concerned stakeholders.
Data Privacy & Risk Management: Managing data privacy assessments in collaboration with the legal team and the DPO and relevant stakeholders across the Sannam S4 Group's global offices. Assisting in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating legal risks associated with the changing business and regulatory environment.
Intellectual Property (IP) Management: Managing the registration and maintenance of IP/Trademark/Logo rights, as well as handling any disputes related thereto across the SannamS4 Group. This includes liaising with external counsels and internal stakeholders.
Legal Training & Awareness: Keeping abreast of applicable legislations and regulatory changes impacting the business and assisting in providing required training and updates on legal subjects to non-legal stakeholders.
Global Team Support: Working and interacting effectively with the SannamS4 global team as required to support various teams on diverse legal issues.
Process Support: Supporting the Legal team in undertaking requisite compliance under applicable laws, maintaining compliance trackers, and managing and updating the contract tracker for all live contracts across SannamS4.
Day-to-Day Operations: Providing overall support to the Legal & Compliance Team in day-to-day related work.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: Full-time Law Degree from a premier law school with a specialisation in Corporate Law.
Work Experience : 7 to 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a legal and compliance function, preferably with a corporate in-house team or a reputable law firm serving global clients.
