Role Description

As a Qualified Company Secretary joining our Demat Operations and Compliance team, you will oversee smooth demat account operations, governance, and statutory compliance. Your role will be critical in managing company secretarial functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks, and supporting equity fundraising processes. You will also drive process improvements to simplify compliance workflows and enhance operational efficiency

What You’ll Do

• Manage demat operations including ISIN generation, demat account openings, and coordination with depositories and RTAs.
• Handle company secretarial functions such as convening board, committee, and shareholder meetings; drafting agendas, resolutions, and minutes.
• Oversee compliance with FEMA regulations concerning inward/outward remittances, FDI/FPI transactions, and necessary RBI filings.
• Manage end-to-end secretarial processes related to equity fundraising, including issuance, allotment, statutory filings, and obtaining board/shareholder approvals.
• Maintain statutory registers and ensure accurate upkeep of company records across all entities.
• Drive initiatives for process automation and simplification in compliance and demat operations.

What We Want

• Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with a valid Certificate of Practice (COP).
• 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in demat operations and company secretarial compliance.
• Hands-on experience with MCA21 portal, NSDL/CDSL platforms, RBI FIRMS Portal, and other regulatory interfaces.
• Excellent legal drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
