Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure the company complies with all statutory, legal, and regulatory obligations.
• Stay updated with changes in relevant laws, rules, and guidelines.
• Draft, review, and update compliance policies and processes.

2. Monitoring & Auditing

• Conduct periodic internal audits to identify gaps and ensure adherence to policies.
• Maintain and monitor compliance checklists and dashboards.
• Report compliance issues, risks, and corrective action plans.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare necessary compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain records for audits, inspections, and statutory filings.

4. Risk Management

• Identify compliance risks and suggest mitigation measures.
• Ensure timely resolution of compliance-related issues.

5. Training & Awareness

• Conduct employee training sessions on compliance requirements and internal policies.
• Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour across the organization.

6. Cross-Department Coordination

• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, and other departments for compliance matters.
• Support internal and external audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–7 years of experience in compliance, audit, or regulatory functions.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to the industry (Insurance, Banking, Finance, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of compliance standards, statutory requirements, and risk management.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office / Excel; experience with compliance software preferred.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
