Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for a Community Manager who can build, engage, and grow user-driven communities across platforms like Quora, Reddit, Facebook Groups, WhatsApp, and Telegram. This role is critical in shaping how users discover, interact with, and trust Traya outside traditional marketing channels. Your 3 Core Responsibilities: Manage and Grow Platform Communities Own and operate Traya’s presence on Quora, Reddit, WhatsApp Groups, Facebook Groups, and more. Gain meaningful access and build credibility across external forums (Reddit threads, Quora Spaces, etc.). Drive User Migration to Owned Platforms Strategically move users from public platforms into Traya’s private communities on Telegram, WhatsApp, and any future platforms. Implement creative campaigns, hooks, and content to drive opt-ins and engagement. Spark and Sustain Conversations Ensure daily/weekly group activity through meaningful discussions, polls, challenges, expert interactions, and success stories. Moderate discussions with empathy and authority to maintain a positive, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities (Expanded): Design engagement calendars tailored to each platform’s audience behaviour. Identify and nurture loyalists, early adopters, and micro-advocates within communities. Run community-driven initiatives like loyalty programs, member spotlights, feedback drives, and expert Q&As. Collaborate with the Content, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to align community efforts with brand messaging. Monitor sentiment and feedback closely; escalate issues where necessary. Track and report key community metrics: member growth, conversation rate, engagement depth, and conversion rates to owned platforms. What We’re Looking For: 3–5 years of hands-on community management experience (D2C, health/wellness brand preferred). Strong understanding of platform-specific dynamics across Reddit, Quora, Facebook Groups, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Excellent written and verbal communication skills — friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Ability to spark organic conversations, spot trends early, and build community peer-to-peer trust. Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable with both execution and strategy. Data-driven mindset — ability to use analytics to refine approach. Empathy for customer challenges and an instinct for creating value-first conversations. Good to Have: Experience growing communities beyond 5,000+ members across platforms. Basic understanding of CRM and automation tools for WhatsApp/Telegram. Exposure to loyalty programs, UGC drives, or brand advocacy programs. Show more Show less
