Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I to join our team at Taj Agra, with 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cold section and Asian cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
Ensure all food products are stored properly and used within their expiration dates.
Participate in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of cold section cooking techniques and ingredients.
Familiarity with Asian cuisine and its various regional styles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to maintain attention to detail and adhere to high standards of quality and presentation.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food safety protocols and hygiene practices.
