Role Overview

We’re looking for a visionary CTO to lead our technology strategy, drive innovation, and scale our platform globally. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll shape Uniova’s tech roadmap and build a world-class product for students worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute Uniova’s technology vision and strategy.

Lead the development of our web and mobile platforms (community, networking, and cultural exchange tools).

Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing tech team.

Oversee scalability, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance (GDPR, IT rules, etc.).

Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align business and technology goals.

Represent technology in investor discussions and fundraising rounds.

Required Technical Expertise

We are specifically looking for strong expertise in:

Full-stack development (React, Node.js, Python/Django, etc.)

Mobile app development (iOS/Android)

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Database design (SQL/NoSQL)

AI/ML integration (recommendation systems, personalization, etc.)

Cybersecurity & compliance (data privacy, GDPR, IT regulations)

What We’re Looking For

5–10 years in software development/IT leadership, with 3+ years in senior roles (CTO, VP of Engineering, etc.).

Proven track record of scaling tech in startups or fast-growing companies.

Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Passion for education, culture, and building global student communities.

Willingness to commit long-term and embrace equity-based compensation.
