Chief Technology Officer

Role & responsibilities

Build and lead our end-to-end e-commerce platform from the ground up

• Design, develop, and scale:

Customer-facing website(s)

Shopping and checkout systems

Order management and integrations with stores, inventory, and logistics.

• Define and execute the digital commerce strategy to achieve 30% revenue contribution from online channels
• Establish a strong online presence, including:

Social media platforms

Search engine optimization (SEO)

Organic digital growth strategies

• Partner closely with business, marketing, operations, and store teams to ensure seamless omni channel experiences.
• Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, reliable, and future-ready
• Stay ahead of trends in e-commerce, retail tech, data, and customer experience.
• Proven experience building or scaling e-commerce or digital platforms, ideally in retail or consumer businesses.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong understanding of:

• Web technologies and modern architectures.
• Shopping carts, payments, and customer journeys.
• SEO, social media, and digital growth fundamentals.
• Experience building systems from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones.
• A strategic thinker who is also hands-on and execution-focused
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
