🚀 Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Uniova Location: Remote | Type: Full-time | Compensation: Equity-based About Uniova Uniova is a fast-growing startup building a student community and cultural exchange platform that helps students connect, explore cultures, and prepare for study-abroad experiences. Our mission is to make university life easier, more connected, and truly global. Role Overview We’re looking for a visionary CTO to lead our technology strategy, drive innovation, and scale our platform globally. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll shape Uniova’s tech roadmap and build a world-class product for students worldwide. Key Responsibilities Define and execute Uniova’s technology vision and strategy. Lead the development of our web and mobile platforms (community, networking, and cultural exchange tools). Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing tech team. Oversee scalability, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance (GDPR, IT rules, etc.). Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align business and technology goals. Represent technology in investor discussions and fundraising rounds. Required Technical Expertise We are specifically looking for strong expertise in: Full-stack development (React, Node.js, Python/Django, etc.) Mobile app development (iOS/Android) Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Database design (SQL/NoSQL) AI/ML integration (recommendation systems, personalization, etc.) Cybersecurity & compliance (data privacy, GDPR, IT regulations) What We’re Looking For 5–10 years in software development/IT leadership, with 3+ years in senior roles (CTO, VP of Engineering, etc.). Proven track record of scaling tech in startups or fast-growing companies. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
