Chief Technology Officer

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Uniova, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology strategy, driving innovation, and expanding the platform globally. Your leadership will be crucial in defining and executing Uniova's technology vision and strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute Uniova's technology vision and strategy. - Lead the development of web and mobile platforms focusing on community, networking, and cultural exchange tools. - Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing tech team. - Oversee scalability, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance (GDPR, IT rules, etc.). - Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align business and technology goals. - Represent technology in investor discussions and fundraising rounds. **Qualifications Required:** - Full-stack development (React, Node.js, Python/Django, etc.) - Mobile app development (iOS/Android) - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Database design (SQL/NoSQL) - AI/ML integration (recommendation systems, personalization, etc.) - Cybersecurity & compliance (data privacy, GDPR, IT regulations) We are seeking a candidate with 5-10 years of experience in software development/IT leadership, including at least 3 years in senior roles such as CTO or VP of Engineering. Your track record should demonstrate the ability to scale technology in startups or fast-growing companies. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills are essential, along with a passion for education, culture, and building global student communities.
