Job Description: Technical Head / Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Location: Mohali, Punjab (On-site / Hybrid) Department: Technology & Product Development Reporting To: Founder / Managing Director Employment Type: Full-Time, 5 days a week. Role Overview The Technical Head (CTO) will lead the company’s entire technology and product ecosystem, driving architecture, development, and innovation across web, mobile, and AI-driven platforms. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in Django, Python, React JS, Next JS, React Native, Figma, Agora, and PostgreSQL, along with the ability to architect scalable systems and guide a growing engineering team. Key Responsibilities 1. Technology Infrastructure & Ecosystem Development Architect, develop, and maintain internal IT systems, CRMs, automation pipelines, and digital workflows. Build scalable backend systems using Python & Django, ensuring high security, integrity, and compliance. Implement modern infrastructure with robust cybersecurity and business continuity planning. 2. Product Ownership & Platform Development Lead end-to-end development of web and mobile applications using React JS, Next JS, React Native, and backend services powered by Django/Python. Oversee UI/UX design coordination using Figma for wireframes and prototypes. Develop real-time communication features and virtual engagement modules using Agora. Ensure seamless performance, modular architecture, and integration with third-party APIs and AI-driven systems. 3. AI/ML Integration Implement AI/ML models into core products for automation, recommendations, and predictive analytics. Build intelligent tools leveraging NLP, LLMs, and custom ML pipelines. Stay updated on new frameworks and apply AI/ML solutions to healthcare workflows and operational processes. 4. Leadership & Team Building Build, mentor, and manage a team of developers, freshers, and interns—providing structured training and technical oversight. Maintain a hands-on leadership style: coding, reviewing architecture, solving complex technical challenges. Foster a culture focused on experimentation, innovation, quality, and accountability. 5. Innovation & Strategic Planning Identify emerging technologies relevant to product scalability and competitive advantage. Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term technology, AI, and automation strategies. Drive continuous improvement through code quality, DevOps best practices, and modern engineering standards. Preferred Qualifications & Attributes Educational Background B.Tech (mandatory) and preferably M.Tech in CS, IT, or related fields from a reputed institution. Professional Experience Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Head, or Senior Technology Lead in HealthTech, SaaS, AI/ML, or product-based companies. Hands-on expertise building platforms using Django, Python, React JS, Next JS, React Native, PostgreSQL, and modern UI/UX workflows via Figma. Experience with real-time integrations (e.g., Agora), microservices, CI/CD, and cloud environments. Exposure to healthcare standards like HIPAA, HL7, and secure system architecture is preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience managing diverse teams. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication skills—able to convert complex tech solutions into business insights. Deep understanding of data security, cybersecurity practices, and scalable engineering principles.
