As CTO of Cricket8 you will set the technology vision and strategy while remaining actively involved in product development. You’ll be responsible for building a lean, high-impact engineering team, ensuring robust, scalable and secure technology foundations that support our ambitions in gaming, data analytics, and content distribution. This is both a strategic and operational role: you’ll architect and code, mentor and manage, and make critical decisions on tech stack, infrastructure, and innovation.
§ Proven track record as a technology leader (CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent) in a high-growth start-up or gaming company such as Daily Fantasy Sports or similar, with clear understanding of building social products.
§ Strong coding skills with a willingness to be a hands-on leader for the next phase of development.
§ Experience architecting and scaling consumer-facing platforms (preferably in gaming, sports, media, or data services).
§ Familiarity with real-time data systems, AWS and mobile/web development.
§ Understanding of regulatory compliance, data privacy, and secure transaction systems in India.
§ Ability to build and inspire small teams while operating in a resource-constrained, entrepreneurial environment.
