Chief Technology Officer

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the company's technology vision and strategy. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and implementation of technology solutions that drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency. As the CTO, you will lead the technology function globally, ensure robust cybersecurity measures, and foster innovation across all verticals. It is essential that you exhibit strong leadership skills and possess a profound understanding of aligning technology with business objectives. You will be accountable for owning, managing, and enabling the Global IT Infrastructure. Your role will involve accelerating digital innovation within the organization and guiding technical staff to ensure the efficient development of products and services. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Your key responsibilities will revolve around developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency. You should have a proven track record in selecting, implementing, and designing technology solutions to drive business objectives. It will be crucial to create and implement technology strategies, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective solutions. Your understanding of business solutions built on the latest technological platforms will be instrumental in keeping the company competitively advanced. Additionally, you will be responsible for enabling the GlobalStep Office 365 platform and should have experience with ERP solutions. Assessing the existing IT infrastructure, recommending optimal IT strategies, and overseeing and supporting the Global IT infrastructure will also be part of your role. You will establish and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, including systems infrastructure, network, data management, and security protocols. Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies will be essential to ensure high performance, uptime, and data integrity. Identifying and mitigating technology-related risks, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations, and staying informed about the latest technological advancements are also key responsibilities. Collaboration with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to understand their technological needs and driving technology-enabled business initiatives will be crucial. Providing strong leadership and guidance to the technology teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning is paramount. The ideal candidate for this role should have over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology domain, with at least 7 years in a senior management role overseeing teams and strategic initiatives. A Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure, IT budgets, software development, and systems architecture is essential. Deep understanding of technology trends, best practices, and the technology landscape is required. Extensive knowledge of infrastructure management, cybersecurity best practices, driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging cloud technologies, and implementing data-driven decision-making is crucial. Excellent leadership and team management skills, proven track record of leading large-scale technology projects, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS, and/or CISSP are assets. Proficiency in risk mitigation, data security of digital assets, knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives are also essential.
