Roles and Responsibilities and Job Description:

The Chartered Accountant (Audit Head) will be responsible for managing the Tax Audit, internal audit function, ensuring that financial, operational, and compliance controls are robust, risks are effectively managed, and regulatory requirements are met. This role demands a seasoned Chartered Accountant with strong leadership, analytical, and strategic skills to drive audit excellence and contribute to organizational governance.

The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial health by preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing strategic advice on budgeting, cost management, and investment decisions.

• Minimum 5–10 years of post-qualification experience in auditing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in Tax audit and internal audit, risk management, or external audit within a corporate or Big 4 environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Proficiency in audit software and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Timely completion of audit plan and all other auditing work.
• Reduction in identified control weaknesses year-over-year.
• Implementation rate of audit recommendations.
• Stakeholder satisfaction score.
• Compliance with regulatory audit requirements.
