Key Responsibilities: ● Lead the technical planning, architecture, and end-to-end implementation of Odoo-based solutions ● Write and review code for custom modules, especially in the initial stages of the project ● Guide junior and mid-level developers through design decisions, reviews, and problem-solving ● Translate functional requirements into detailed technical solutions ● Manage project timelines, code quality, deployments, and documentation ● Collaborate with functional consultants and QA to ensure delivery accuracy and system performance ● Handle complex customizations and third-party API integrations ● Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and CI/CD practices ● Stay up to date with new features in Odoo and emerging ERP technologies Required Skills & Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field ● Minimum 6 years of Odoo development experience across multiple versions (v10 to latest) ● Must have the ability to write Odoo modules from scratch and modify core functionalities if needed ● Agile/Scrum experience with tools like Jira or ClickUp ● Strong command of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, QWeb, and Odoo ORM ● Solid understanding of backend and frontend customization in both Community and Enterprise editions ● Experience with tools like Odoo.sh, GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, etc. ● Hands-on experience with REST APIs and 3rd-party app integrations ● Familiarity with business domains like Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, Accounting ● Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills ● Experience in performance tuning and large database management in Odoo ● Capable of managing a team and delivering projects independently Preferred Qualifications: ● Odoo Certification (Technical or Functional) is highly desirable
