cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, Appolo has successfully executed projects for various ministries, PSUs, and government departments across India.


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IT Sales Professional (SaaS/Government) with a proven track record in

government technology sales, tender management, and SaaS solution selling. The role requires managing

the full sales cycle — from opportunity identification to closure — with a focus on promoting software-as-a-service (SaaS) and digital transformation solutions to government clients.


Key Responsibilities:

 Identify and develop new business opportunities in Central and State Government, PSUs, GeM, and

other public sector organizations.

 Drive sales for SaaS-based solutions, cloud platforms, digital workflow tools, and cybersecurity

offerings tailored for government clients.

 Manage end-to-end government sales cycles — lead generation, pre-sales coordination, RFP/RFQ

response, tender submission, and contract closure.

 Build and sustain strong relationships with senior officials, procurement heads, and decision-makers in

ministries and departments.

 Collaborate with OEMs, technology partners, and internal technical teams to deliver customized SaaS

proposals.

 Maintain updated knowledge of GeM processes, e-tendering platforms, and government procurement

guidelines.

 Track and manage sales opportunities through CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

 Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

 6+ years of experience in IT sales to the Government Sector (preferably SaaS, Cloud, or Software

Solutions).

 Strong knowledge of GeM, RFP/RFQ, and public procurement processes.

 Proven ability in consultative selling and managing long sales cycles with government clients.

 Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.

 Familiarity with cloud technologies, SaaS models, and government digital initiatives (e.g., Digital

India, Smart City, NIC projects).

 Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office Suite.

 MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing / Business / IT preferred.
