Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Own the FMCG food category P&L, optimizing margins, improving sales mix, and enhancing cost efficiency.
• Develop pricing and promotion strategies while negotiating TOTs with national and regional FMCG brands.
• Plan assortment and merchandising to maximize visibility, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
• Build and nurture strategic supplier partnerships, creating and executing joint business plans.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory to ensure high availability and optimal stock levels.
• Leverage offline stores, mobile app, and quick commerce channels to design impactful customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
• Pitch the company's tech-enabled retail ecosystem to brands for co-marketing, monetization, and innovation-driven collaborations.
• Monitor competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
• Ensure catalogue accuracy, compliance in pricing, and healthy assortment management.
• Implement exit strategies for low-performing SKUs and track vendor spends against agreed targets.
  

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in FMCG buying, category management, or trade marketing.
• Strong understanding of modern retail, digital commerce, and omnichannel execution.
• Proven track record of managing brand portfolios and delivering P&L accountability.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate value and drive monetization through a differentiated, tech-enabled retail ecosystem
