Role Overview: As a Category Manager at One Impression, you will be responsible for driving marketplace growth and optimization, supply and demand management, tracking performance metrics, cross-functional collaboration, and market expansion and strategy development in the influencer marketing industry. Key Responsibilities: - Drive operational strategies to enhance creator discovery and ensure seamless access for brands to the right creators. - Build and operationalize pricing structures that balance efficiency, scalability, and value for both brands and creators. - Implement initiatives to boost order volume, optimize fulfillment processes, and encourage higher brand spend on the marketplace. - Design and maintain a structured communication framework to standardize brand-creator interactions, reducing manual interventions and errors. - Lead end-to-end creator onboarding operations, establishing scalable processes for verification, category mapping, and community engagement. - Oversee delivery automation workflows to ensure smooth campaign execution with minimal manual touchpoints. - Track and report key operational metrics, including order volumes, revenue growth, profit margins, and turnaround times. - Partner with product/tech and marketing teams to co-create features and ensure alignment with demand generation. - Scale marketplace operations by setting up repeatable playbooks, evaluating market dynamics, and developing strategies for international expansion. Qualifications: - Experience: 3+ years in marketplace management, e-commerce, or related roles. - Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering from a top-tier institution; MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, BI tools, and data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize marketplace functions. - Marketplace Expertise: Strong understanding of supply-demand mechanics, pricing strategies, and managing complex customer relationships. - Data-Driven Approach: Utilize data and analytics for marketplace trends, consumer behavior, and optimization. - Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal team coordination and external stakeholder engagement. - Leadership: Experience managing teams with the ability to guide and inspire members for collective goals.
