About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own category P&L: revenue, margins, pricing, and profitability
• Manage product listings, catalog updates, and content accuracy
• Run offers, seasonal plans, and promotion calendars
• Conduct competitor benchmarking, pricing strategy, and assortment planning
• Analyze daily/weekly sales performance and identify growth opportunities
• Coordinate with supply chain to maintain optimum inventory levels
• Reduce cancellations, returns, and operational leakages
• Ensure consistent product availability and forecasting accuracy
• Collaborate with marketing, creative, logistics, and finance teams to support category goals
• Prepare dashboards and insights to guide decision-making

Performance Metrics

• Revenue & GMV growth
• Contribution margin & profitability
• Inventory health (DOS, availability, ageing)
• Return rate / defects
• Conversion improvement
• Pricing competitiveness & assortment depth

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience

  as a Category Manager or Growth Manager in a D2C or FMCG brand
• Must be

  extremely strong with numbers, Excel/Google Sheets, forecasting, and dashboards

• Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and implement decisions quickly
• Strong coordination skills across supply chain, performance marketing, and creative teams
• Deep understanding of product life cycles, pricing logic, and consumer buying patterns
• High ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple moving parts

Good to Have

• Experience in wellness, beauty, spiritual, lifestyle, or personal care categories
• Exposure to cataloging, inventory planning, bundling, and seasonal planning
• Previous experience in a fast-growing startup environment
