Role Description:

Qualifications

• BCA /BE or BTech -Computer Science or IT Or Electronics  or related field.
• Experience working in banking, payments technology, or financial services product teams.
• 3–5 years’ experience in credit/debit card operations, business analysis, or payment platform development.​
• Practical experience with payment scheme simulators—especially MasterCard Authorization Simulator (MAS)—and card transaction authorization testing.​
• In-depth knowledge of card transaction lifecycle, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and billing.​​
• Exposure to tokenization solutions and understanding of payment security standards (PCI DSS, scheme security requirements).​
• Familiarity with credit card statement cycles, billing operations, and dispute/chargeback management.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence), and working in cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document requirements for card transaction authorization, clearing, settlement, billing, and security (tokenization) processes according to scheme guidelines and business goals.​​
• Coordinate and perform authorization testing using MasterCard Authorization Simulator (MAS), including execution of functional and business test cases for card products and payment platforms.​
• Support integration and administration of tokenization methodologies to protect cardholder data in line with PCI DSS and scheme protocols.​​
• Engage in reconciliation and validation processes for clearing and settlement, including exception handling and daily reporting.​
• Oversee credit card billing processes: statement cycle management, transaction posting, interest and fee calculation, and dispute handling.
• Draft business requirement documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals for payment authorization and billing platforms.
• Collaborate with IT/development, QA, operations, and scheme partners to ensure project alignment and resolve system/process issues.
• Provide production support for card payments systems, including issue triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Document production incidents, resolutions, and process improvements; report system status and production issues to stakeholders
• Prepare and deliver project status updates, progress reports, and ensure deliverables adhere to defined timelines.
• Assess and recommend improvements related to authorization tools, billing workflows, and clearing/settlement practices.
