Job description:
We are looking for a highly skilled marketing automation consultant who can act as a subject matter expert (SME), offering both technical expertise and strategic guidance. The ideal candidate will have deep experience across leading marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), and others. This role demands someone capable of guiding clients on how to leverage these platforms effectively to optimize campaign performance, customer engagement, and marketing automation workflows.
●Design, configure, and optimize solutions across marketing automation platforms like Braze, Klaviyo, HubSpot, and SFMC.
●Develop and manage advanced scripting, segmentation, and data workflows using platform-native scripting (e.g., Liquid, AMPScript), SQL, and APIs.
●Integrate automation platforms with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot CRM) and external systems using connectors and APIs.
●Troubleshoot and enhance journeys, automations, triggers, and messaging flows to ensure maximum efficiency.
●Maintain data models, segmentation logic, and preference centers for effective personalization and targeting.
●Provide best practices for campaign setup, automation, dynamic content, and A/B testing.
●Perform deliverability audits, IP warming strategies, and inbox placement optimization.
●Guide on email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI) to maximize deliverability.
●Optimize templates for responsiveness, accessibility, and engagement across channels (email, SMS, push).
●Monitor key metrics (opens, CTRs, bounces, unsubscribes) and recommend data-driven improvements.
●Stay current with platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
●Recommend new tools and automation strategies to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
●Implement governance and compliance measures for GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc.
●Create documentation, knowledge bases, and training resources for internal and client teams.
●Advise clients on lifecycle marketing, customer journey mapping, and engagement strategy.
●Provide insight into competitor strategies and trends in the digital marketing ecosystem.
●Design and execute multi-channel strategies (email, SMS, push, in-app, social).
●Assist with cross-channel attribution, audience segmentation, and personalization frameworks.
●4–7 years of hands-on experience with one or more marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Klaviyo, HubSpot, SFMC, or similar).
●Proficiency in SQL, scripting (e.g., Liquid, AMPScript), APIs, and custom integrations.
●Strong understanding of email deliverability, compliance, and authentication protocols.
●Experience integrating with Sales/Service CRMs and managing multi-channel messaging flows.
●Solid background in A/B testing, campaign optimization, and performance reporting.
