Location: Kandivali
Experience: 3–4 years in café/restaurant management
Reporting to: Founder

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, well-spoken and customer-focused Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. This individual will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experience, efficient store operations, team management, and maintaining the overall brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Experience & Front-of-House Management

  • Greet and engage guests warmly; ensure they feel welcomed and taken care of.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
  • Maintain high service standards across all touchpoints.
  • Ensure ambience, cleanliness, and café presentation is consistently inviting.

2. Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day café operations smoothly.
  • Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, place orders, and reduce wastage.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, food-safety, and quality control standards.
  • Manage cash handling, daily reconciliations, and POS oversight.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely and quality deliveries.

3. Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate the café staff.
  • Create weekly rosters and manage shift schedules.
  • Conduct briefings, set performance expectations, and ensure efficient team workflows.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful work environment.

4. Sales & Performance

  • Track daily/weekly sales and work towards revenue targets.
  • Understand customer preferences and suggest menu improvements or upselling opportunities.
  • Support marketing initiatives, seasonal promotions, and community engagement activities.

5. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily operational reports as required.
  • Maintain compliance documentation (checklists, audits, licenses, etc.).
  • Identify operational gaps and suggest improvements.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and customer-first mindset.
  • Basic understanding of café financials (COGS, wastage, margins, etc.).
  • Proficient in POS systems, basic Excel, and inventory management tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
