As an Accounts Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of financial accounting. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial records, preparing statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support in financial analysis and decision-making. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff and liaising with auditors during annual audits. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements. - Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, procedures, and regulations. - Assist in budget preparation, forecasts, and provide variance analysis. - Review and reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and other accounts for accuracy. - Monitor cash flow and manage working capital requirements. - Manage and file statutory returns such as GST, TDS, and other tax filings. - Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and implement audit recommendations. - Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and relevant regulations. - Provide support in financial analysis and strategic decision-making. - Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Qualifications: - CA Finalist with relevant educational qualifications. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and tax regulations. - 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles. - Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills. - Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of accounting and finance in specific industries. - Familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
