As an Accounts Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of financial accounting. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports. - Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements. - Ensuring compliance with all accounting policies, procedures, and regulations. - Assisting in preparing budgets, forecasts, and providing variance analysis. - Reviewing and reconciling bank statements, general ledgers, and other accounts for accuracy. - Monitoring cash flow and managing working capital requirements. - Managing and filing statutory returns like GST, TDS, and other tax filings timely. - Liaising with external auditors during annual audits and implementing audit recommendations. - Staying updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and relevant regulations. - Providing support in financial analysis and strategic decision-making. - Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff and providing necessary training. Qualifications required for this role: - CA Finalist with relevant educational qualifications. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and tax regulations. - Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in accounting or finance roles. - Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of accounting and finance in a specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail). - Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
