As a Procurement Specialist at Sundynes based in Pune, India, your role will involve working closely with a dynamic and collaborative team. You will be responsible for sourcing various fabricated parts, subcontracting for skid fabrication, ensuring cost savings, on-time supplies, and effective expediting. Your proficiency in contractual language, project planning, technical scope interpretation, and schedule management will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your excellent communication skills will play a vital role in coordinating with suppliers, stakeholders, manufacturing personnel, and international teams in Europe and the US. Key Responsibilities: - Source fabricated parts in different materials such as CS, SS, and exotic grades, as well as bought-outs like base frames, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, fittings, flanges, and precision machined parts. - Manage subcontracting for skid fabrication, painting, powder coating, heat treatment, etc. - Focus on cost savings, on-time supplies, and effective expediting. - Participate in supplier evaluation and audit meetings. - Develop project schedules and provide status reports to the Head of Procurement. - Collaborate with EU/UK/US business units for sourcing projects and support. - Identify and mitigate sourcing risks. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, systems, standards, and tools at Sundynes. - Ensure project delivery aligns with customer specifications and meets Sundynes' standards, budget, and schedules while upholding quality standards. Technical/Functional Skills: - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. - Demonstrate a team-focused approach, take ownership of projects, and exhibit commitment to customer satisfaction. - Collaborate effectively with team members at all levels. - Display a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail. Qualification and Experience: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for Engineering. - Have a minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in similar commodities. - Exhibit critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and proficiency in supplier negotiation for executing complex projects effectively. - Possess supply chain experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, and the Oil and Gas sectors. - Familiarity with international standards and global supply chain practices. - Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in the oil and gas, chemical, or related industries.
