This BSA role is responsible for Legacy System utility set-up and maintenance, and support. Performs basic claims/ERA processing issue research & resolution on user technical support tickets. The role is responsible for researching and resolving missing interface files and updating the interface utility file mapping. This role works with internal/external customers to meet the needs of file transfer processes.Position in this function is responsible for Legacy System utility set-up and maintenance, and support. This role will also work with TES Operations Partners to identify, evaluate, and develop system procedures which are cost effective and meet business requirements. Function is responsible for utility set-up, testing, performing QA activities and providing details/recommendations/direction to Business Support Management related to any issues or problems detected.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs MDIV Legacy System user setup and security access level support
  • Performs basic system research in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by Operations. Follows standard departmental practices and procedures in research where answers can be readily obtained in seeking solutions
  • Performs basic base utility entry and maintenance which are semi-routine in nature; as well as update billing processing codes and data integrity check/review
  • Test and performs QA activities on basic system settings/changes
  • Performs basic claims/ERA processing issue research & resolution on user technical support tickets
  • Completes basic ad hoc requests as needed for clients/operations or troubleshooting
  • Conducts basic system support
  • Other projects/duties as assigned
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Medical billing experience in US Healthcare
  • Experience in End-to-End Revenue Cycle Management process Adequate domain knowledge on various billing terminologies & processes like EDI, Denials and adjudication
  • Solid personal computer literacy required; including working knowledge of relevant software packages such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Familiar with EDI 835 & 837 transaction sets (era and claim)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in computer networking applications
  • Proven written & Verbal communication, Problem solving, Logical thinking
  • Proven billing and/or analytical support within a medical billing office
  • Proven ability to work with large amount
  • Proven detail Oriented
  • Proven ability to read specifications
  • Proven analysis of Data Files and format
