About the Role:

We are seeking a high-caliber Business Strategy Analyst with a strong foundation in engineering and business management to support strategic decision-making for our integrated steel plant operations. This role will work closely with senior leadership to drive long-term value creation through market intelligence, financial modeling, operational optimization, and business transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring analytical rigor, industry knowledge, and cross-functional coordination skills to support large-scale projects in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of long-term business plans, investment roadmaps, and growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Conduct scenario modeling and feasibility assessments for technological packages, capacity expansion, vertical integration, and downstream opportunities.
• Develop detailed financial models (NPV, IRR, payback, EV/EBITDA)
• Prepare dashboards, forecasts, and board-level presentations for internal stakeholders and external investors.
• Work with plant and project teams to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across supply chain, production, energy usage, and logistics.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose cost-reduction, efficiency improvement, and digitalization opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, finance, procurement, sustainability) to support cross-functional strategy execution.
• Liaise with consultants, bankers, and market research firms for strategic insights or due diligence requirements.
• Maintain business intelligence reports policy changes (e.g., import duties, carbon taxes), Sustainability related disclosures, etc.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should be :

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Electrical or related field + MBA (Strategy / Finance / Operations) from a reputed institution.
• 3–5 years in business strategy, corporate planning roles; preferably in steel and metals.
• Strong in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, market research;
• Analytical thinker with business acumen and strong presentation skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites and industrial partners.
