The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in industrial environmental compliance, and regulatory interface, preferably within the steel, power, or renewable energy sectors. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing and submitting statutory documentation such as EIA/EMP reports, CTE/CTO applications, and pollution monitoring reports. Ensure alignment with MoEFCC, CPCB, SPCB (e.g., MPCB), and factory-level regulations. Liaise with government authorities for permits, clarifications, and inspections. Prepare official responses to compliance queries, notices, and audit findings. Participate in public hearings and statutory meetings as needed. Monitor key environmental KPIs and support ISO 14001 compliance. Coordinate internal and external environmental audits. Contribute to ESG-related disclosures (e.g. BRSR, CDP, GRI), and sustainability reports. Prepare and maintain GHG inventories (Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3) as per GHG Protocol / ISO 14064. Qualifications & Experience The candidate should have : B.E./B.Tech in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering OR M.Sc. in Environmental Science. 2–5 years (Analyst) / 5–8 years (Senior Analyst) in environmental roles within industrial sectors. This position will be based out of Nagpur , offering a strategic role in the development and execution of critical electrical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities 1. Transmission Line & Substation Execution Lead the execution of high-voltage (HV/EHV) transmission lines (132kV/220kV/400kV) and associated AIS/GIS substations, in compliance with: CEA (Safety and Grid Standards) Regulations MSETCL technical specifications and SOPs Oversee engineering & construction, testing, and commissioning of Switchyards, Transmission towers, Control & relay panels, Busbars, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs/PTs, and surge arresters Review single line diagrams (SLDs), earthing layouts, protection schemes, and CT/PT sizing. Validate protection relay coordination as per CEA protection code and MSETCL relay settings. 2. Liaison with Government Authorities Coordinate with MSETCL, MSEDCL, SLDC, and CEIG Maharashtra for: Grid connectivity (open access, captive use, and injection approvals) Load flow studies and bay allocation CEIG inspections, safety approvals, and energization certificates Metering system approval and sealing by DISCOM Ensure timely application and follow-up and approvals. 3.
