About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst - Environment, GHG & Regulatory Affairs to support our environmental compliance strategy, and coordination with key statutory bodies such as MoEFCC, State Pollution Control Boards, and related regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in industrial environmental compliance, and regulatory interface, preferably within the steel, power, or renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting statutory documentation such as EIA/EMP reports, CTE/CTO applications, and pollution monitoring reports.
• Ensure alignment with MoEFCC, CPCB, SPCB (e.g., MPCB), and factory-level regulations.
• Liaise with government authorities for permits, clarifications, and inspections.
• Prepare official responses to compliance queries, notices, and audit findings.
• Participate in public hearings and statutory meetings as needed.
• Monitor key environmental KPIs and support ISO 14001 compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external environmental audits.
• Contribute to ESG-related disclosures (e.g. BRSR, CDP, GRI), and sustainability reports.
• Prepare and maintain GHG inventories (Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3) as per GHG Protocol / ISO 14064.

Qualifications & Experience

The candidate should have :

• B.E./B.Tech in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering OR M.Sc. in Environmental Science.
• 2–5 years (Analyst) / 5–8 years (Senior Analyst) in environmental roles within industrial sectors.
• Prior experience in steel, power, renewable, or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with MoEFCC, CPCB, MPCB), and CEA guidelines.
