About GBFS Team
: The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provide support to HQ and global regional team on Finance & Business Operation activities. This job role is to support day-to-day Sales Operations for Cancellations/Pushouts, Monthly forecasting activities, Pipeline health management.
General Job Summary:
The Sales Operations team plays a critical role in enabling revenue growth and operational excellence across distributor business. This position supports the end-to-end sales operations process, including coordination with regions, BU finance and other cross-functional departments. The role ensures data accuracy, process compliance, and timely execution of operational tasks while partnering with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, BizOps and HQ team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Cancel/PO process, ensuring timely approvals and system updates.
- Oversee pipeline governance, maintaining accuracy and monitoring opportunity stages.
- Drive forecast alignment by linking pipeline health with revenue planning.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations for smooth execution and issue resolution.
- Implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance and audit readiness through control checks and documentation.
- Deliver reports and dashboards on pipeline KPIs, cancellations, and forecast accuracy.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, work under quick turnaround environment.
- Maintain SOPs, checklists, and SLAs; drive on-time completion of operational tasks.
- Strong experience in working with Sales/Business teams understanding on Pipeline, forecasting to cancel/PO process.
Key Skills / Experience Required
- Requires minimum 2 – 4 years related experience in Business Operations / Sales Operations
- Master’s degree in business management / Analytics, Operations
- Proactive task management and initiative - able to anticipate needs and act without reminders.
- Working knowledge of CRM/ERP (e.g., SFDC/SAP/Oracle), Excel, Power BI/ Tableau (user level).
- Detail orientation, data hygiene, analytical mind set, process execution, communication with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain).
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskills with tools – Adv- Excel, Power BI etc.
- Flexible for evening calls (8PM – 11PM IST) for HQ reviews and transition calls on regular basis and/or working in shift (2.30pm to 11.30pm) as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
