General Summary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware development, with significant focus on Wi?Fi or other wireless technologies.
• Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems; good understanding of real?time constraints, memory/performance optimization.
• Solid knowledge of 802.11 protocols and Wi?Fi stack (MAC state machines, management/control frames, scanning, association, roaming, security, QoS).
• Experience with RTOS or bare?metal firmware on SoCs / MCUs.
• Experience debugging low?level firmware issues with tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and internal debug logs.
• Strong understanding of:
• Interrupt handling, DMA, timers, power management.
• Hardwaresoftware interfaces, register programming, and driver/firmware interaction.
  
• Proven ability to own features independently and drive complex issues to closure.
  

Preferred / Nice?to?Have

• Experience with advanced Wi?Fi features:
• 802.11ax/11be (OFDMA, MU?MIMO, TWT, MLO, spatial reuse).
• Dual?band simultaneous (DBS), multi?band operations (MBO), advanced roaming.
  
• Experience with coexistence (Wi?Fi/BT/LTE/UWB) algorithms.
• Familiarity with Linux Wi?Fi host drivers (e.g., qcacld/ath11k/etc.) and hostfirmware interfaces (WMI/HTT or similar).
• Experience in power optimization for battery?operated/IoT devices.
• Exposure to customer?facing bring?up, field issue debug, or interoperability testing.
• Contributions to Wi?Fi standards, open?source drivers, or internal architecture frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and prior experience as a technical lead / mentor.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
