Job Title: General Manager / Business Head – Personal Loan, Health Insurance & Life Insurance
Department: TELECALLING Sales & Business Development
Location: Vadapalani
Reports to: CEO
Role Overview:
The General Manager / Business Head will be responsible for driving business growth in Personal Loans, Health Insurance, and Life Insurance verticals, with a strong focus on DSA channel management and overall BFSI ecosystem engagement. The role requires strategic planning, team leadership, channel expansion, and revenue optimization to achieve organizational targets. With responsibility for leading and inspiring a workforce of 100+ employees across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute business plans for Personal Loans, Health Insurance, and Life Insurance products.
Drive revenue growth through DSA, digital, corporate, and direct channels.
Identify and build new business opportunities within BFSI.
Sales & Distribution Management
Lead and manage DSA/Channel partner network for customer acquisition.
Expand distribution channels across geographies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Team Leadership & Development
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing sales teams.
Set clear sales targets and monitor performance.
Provide training and support for effective cross-selling and upselling.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
Maintain strong relationships with DSAs, NBFCs, Banks, Insurance companies, and other BFSI partners.
Negotiate commercial terms and partnerships to maximize profitability.
Operational Excellence
Streamline business processes for faster turnaround and improved customer experience.
Ensure adherence to compliance, audit, and risk management standards.
Leverage technology and digital platforms for efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in DSA channel management (Personal Loan, Health Insurance, Life Insurance).
Deep understanding of BFSI ecosystem, lending & insurance business models.
Proven track record in P&L ownership, business scaling, and revenue achievement.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Strategic thinker with execution focus.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
12–18 years of experience in BFSI, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
Strong background in Personal Loan sales, Health & Life Insurance distribution.
Experience in building and scaling DSA networks is a must.
