Job Description: Health Insurance Team Manager Job Title: Team Manager – Health Insurance Department: Sales Location: Vadapalani, Chennai Job Summary: The Health Insurance Team Manager is responsible for leading a team in the health insurance division, ensuring smooth operations, team productivity, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. The manager will oversee daily activities related to claims processing, policy servicing, or sales (depending on department), while mentoring the team to achieve KPIs and SLAs. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a team of executives handling policy issuance, claims processing, or customer queries. • Monitor team performance, ensure adherence to service quality standards and resolve escalated issues. • Ensure end-to-end processing of health insurance policies/claims as per TAT. • Coordinate with underwriters, hospitals, sales, and support teams for issue resolution. • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to team members. • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly MIS and reports for management review. • Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills. • Work with other departments to enhance process efficiency and customer experience
