About The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, proactive, and analytical Business Finance Lead / Head to own P&L governance, enable data-driven decisions, and be a strategic finance partner across the organization. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment and is passionate about scaling a consumer business with financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Control & Reporting
  • Manage end-to-end P&L governance and oversee timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Drive cash flow optimization – monitor payables, receivables, and inventory turns
  • Work with business and ops teams to improve margins and reduce financial leakages
  • Ensure robust compliance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
Business Finance & Decision Support
  • Drive unit economics tracking and channel-/SKU-wise profitability analysis across platforms (Website, Marketplace, Quick Commerce, etc.)
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing teams for budgeting, planning, and spend optimization
  • Consolidate data from sales, ads, ops, and inventory for comprehensive internal dashboards
  • Act as the go-to person for any business performance metric or financial decision support
  • Help prioritize strategic spends, defer non-critical outflows, and advise on capital deployment

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or controllership roles
  • Prior exposure to D2C, eCommerce, or consumer brands preferred
  • Strong command over P&L ownership, cost control, financial modeling, and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with tools like Zoho Books, Tally, or similar is a plus
  • Experience working in founder-led, high-growth startups will be a strong advantage
  • High attention to detail, business acumen, and a solution-oriented mindset
