Business Finance Head

Key Responsibilities of the role:

● Draw up short-term and long-term business plans, and deliver against key Revenue and Margin targets for the business.

● Partner with the business teams to drive performance - number of schools signed up, annual contract value & revenue, revenue per student and pricing, collections, and contribution margin.

● Lead thinking on pricing for different product lines and ensure business compliance with agreed pricing.

● Effectively drive budgetary control with close monitoring of variances along with explanations.

● Drive marketing payout analysis, channel profitability and evaluating ROI of marketing spends & promotions.

● Design and implement strong collections and recovery plan.

● Establish and maintain operating and business metrics- build effective Dashboards/ reports/presentations

● Produce succinct financial and business narratives for management review of health of business.

● Use technology to set up strong and reliable processes to automate and drive high accuracy and reliability of data.

● Assess financial viability and set financial guardrails for new initiatives and advice on commercial deal terms.

● Conduct financial analyses and interpreting data to drive decisions- Unit Economics / LTV & CAC, Make vs Buy etc

● Partner with other Finance leaders to set up a strong finance function within the Company.

Ideal Experience Profile:

● MBA in Finance with minimum 10 years of Experience

● Strong business acumen to understand and influence drivers of business

● Proven track record of leading financial strategy for large, complex organisations.

● Strong proficiency in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and performance delivery.

● Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial and business outcomes.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills
