Business Development Trainee

Role Overview

The Business Development Trainee will support the institution’s growth by assisting in marketing activities, coordinating with academic teams, and ensuring smooth operational processes. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in business development, field marketing, student engagement, and centre-level coordination within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Study Material Distribution

• Assist in timely distribution of study materials to centres and students as per academic requirements.
• Maintain records of inventory, stock movement, and distribution logs.
• Coordinate with the logistics/operations team to ensure error-free delivery.

2. Faculty Coordination

• Support faculty members with scheduling, classroom requirements, session planning, and academic resources.
• Communicate faculty needs to the management promptly.
• Ensure proper coordination between academic teams and centre operations.

3. Direct Marketing

• Participate in field marketing activities to promote courses and academic programs.
• Conduct door-to-door outreach, visit schools/colleges, and engage with prospective students and parents.
• Assist in organizing local events, workshops, and branding activities to enhance visibility.

4. Lead Generation & Student Engagement

• Collect student inquiries through field visits, events, and outreach activities.
• Share leads with the admissions team and support follow-ups.
• Provide basic counselling to walk-in and prospective students.

5. Market Research

• Gather insights on competitors, local market trends, and student preferences.
• Share reports to support decision-making and planning.

6. Administrative & Reporting Support

• Maintain daily activity reports and documentation.
• Assist centre teams with basic operational activities when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate or pursuing final-year studies in MBA /BBA.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in marketing, sales, and education sector operations.
• Willingness to travel for marketing and outreach activities.
• Energetic, proactive, and eager to learn.
