About Us

Role Overview

Business Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Identify and onboard new clients across
startups and mid-sized companies
.
Research funded startups, industry trends, and hiring patterns to generate qualified leads.
Conduct outreach via
LinkedIn, email, and calls
to pitch Purple Squirrel’s recruitment solutions.
Partner with the Founder to create tailored proposals and pricing strategies.
Build relationships with
decision-makers (Founders/HR Heads)
for repeat business.
Track metrics like leads, conversions, and revenue using CRM tools.
Represent Purple Squirrel at HR events and networking forums.

Desired Skills & Experience

2–5 years of experience in
business development / client acquisition
, preferably in
HR, recruitment, or B2B services
.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Passion for startups, networking, and consultative sales.
Prior experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or startup databases is an advantage.
