About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing recruitment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving client acquisition, nurturing long-term business relationships, and expanding the firms presence across targeted industries. This role blends sales strategy, client management, and market insight to generate sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and target potential clients (corporates, SMEs, startups) across industries for recruitment partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business.

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and client acquisition goals.
  • Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and other business channels.
  • Collaborate with recruitment consultants to deliver high-quality, end-to-end hiring solutions

Market Research & Insights

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging sectors to identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of recruitment trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring challenges across industries.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, client pipeline, and key metrics.
  • Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry forums

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within recruitment, staffing, or HR consulting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and client relationship management abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Good understanding of hiring processes, job markets, and industry-specific recruitment trends.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 1 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management preferably in the recruitment or HR services domain.
