Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Leadership & Strategy

• Define and implement the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Lead the development of scalable platforms, products, and AI-driven systems.
• Evaluate, select, and implement modern tech stacks, tools, and architectures.
• Drive innovation in product development and ensure competitive advantage.

Product Development

• Build and oversee end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation to deployment.
• Work closely with product, operations, and business teams to deliver features on time.
• Ensure high standards of UI/UX, scalability, reliability, and security.

Team Building & Management

• Build and manage a high-performing technical team (developers, QA, DevOps, AI/ML specialists).
• Establish engineering best practices, workflows, and sprint processes.
• Mentor team members and foster a strong engineering culture.

Technical Infrastructure

• Oversee cloud infrastructure, system integrations, API development, and data pipelines.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and risk management.
• Optimize cost efficiency of technology operations.

Business & Leadership

• Work closely with founders on strategic planning and company vision.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Represent the technology function in investor meetings and key partnerships.

Eligibility & Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, product development, or tech leadership.
• Experience scaling SaaS platforms, AI-driven systems, or large-scale applications.
• Strong expertise in backend architecture, cloud platforms, API development, and DevOps.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation Structure

1. Base Salary (Optional / Depends on Stage)

A profit share for 1st one year can be agreed upon and then a fixed slaary .

2. Investment Component

• CTO will invest on an agreed-upon amount in the company (necessary).
• Investment may convert to equity based on valuation, vesting schedule, or milestones.

3. Profit Sharing

• A profit-sharing component (e.g., 15–25%) based on quarterly or annual net profits.
• Percentage may vary depending on the level of involvement, investment, and deliverables.

4. Equity / ESOPs (If applicable)

• Equity vesting over 3–4 years with a 1-year cliff.
• Additional ESOPs may be granted based on performance and milestones.
