Role Description

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the staffing and recruitment space.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and generate qualified leads.
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Understand client staffing needs and propose tailored workforce solutions (contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire, RPO, etc.).
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of candidates.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and upsell additional services.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry challenges, and competitor activities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in business development or sales in the

    staffing or recruitment industry

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of staffing models (contract, temp-to-perm, direct hire).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling staffing services across multiple verticals (e.g., IT, Healthcare, Engineering).
  • Knowledge of labor laws, recruitment compliance, and onboarding processes.
  • Existing client relationships or a strong industry network is a big plus.
