Identify new market opportunities and conduct thorough market research. Create and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer retention. Collaborate with the marketing team to align business development initiatives with marketing strategies. Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective clients. Attend industry events and networking sessions to represent the company and generate leads. Analyze market trends and report on competitive activity. Support the sales team by providing insights and aiding in the development of sales strategies. Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients. Track and report on account metrics to measure performance against targets. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met. Mentor junior team members and share best practices within the team. Stay updated on industry developments and continuously improve knowledge base. Contribute to the development of training materials and resources. Foster a culture of mutual respect, diversity, and inclusion within the business development team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles. Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Experience with CRM software and sales tools. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset. Capable of analyzing data to make informed decisions. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and techniques. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Self-motivated and goal-oriented. Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in approach. Willingness to travel for client meetings and business events as necessary.
