Business Development Representative (BDR)

This role is ideal for a high-energy professional who enjoys client interactions, understands the digital and influencer marketing ecosystem, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Execute outbound cold calls to prospective clients to introduce Social Bird’s services and value proposition.
  • Manage and respond to inbound leads via email and WhatsApp, sharing detailed service information and proposals.
  • Proactively identify, research, generate, and qualify leads through structured prospecting efforts.
  • Build, manage, and continuously expand a robust sales pipeline.
  • Schedule discovery calls, meetings, and service walkthroughs with qualified prospects.

Client Retention & Revenue Growth

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships to improve retention and lifetime value.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities aligned with client goals and business needs.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly, turning challenges into growth and renewal opportunities.

Relationship & Account Management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand evolving requirements and objectives.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between clients and internal teams (Sales, Influencer Marketing, and Operations).
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service to keep clients engaged and loyal.
  • Share relevant market insights, campaign ideas, and strategic recommendations to strengthen partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of experience in

    business development, sales, or client relationship management

    .
  • Working knowledge of

    influencer marketing, digital marketing, or social media ecosystems

    .
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as

    HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar platforms

    .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client-facing interactions.
  • Strong target-driven mindset with disciplined follow-up and execution skills.
