Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives in the corporate events segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals to drive revenue growth. This role demands strong networking skills, in-depth knowledge of event services, and a passion for B2B client engagement. Strong market knowledge with a robust client database and industry contacts. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential corporate clients through market research, networking, and outbound strategies. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and industry events. Client Relationship Management: Engage with CXOs, marketing heads, HR teams, and admin managers of corporates to pitch event services. Maintain long-term relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Pitching & Proposals: Coordinate with internal teams (production, design, content) to ensure proposals align with client needs. Revenue & Target Achievement: Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets. Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company goals. Collaboration: Work closely with the production and accounts teams to ensure smooth execution and post-event satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks. Event Categories Handled: Product Launches Conferences & Seminars Annual Days / R&R Team Offsites MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Key Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong client servicing attitude with a sales-driven and result-oriented mindset Proven track record of B2B sales, preferably in corporate events 7–8 years of relevant experience in managing and acquiring corporate clients for events Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage timelines under pressure Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or within a team Strong presentation and proposal-building skills Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related fields.
